This policy explains how Hitsukyo Software Inc. (“Hitsukyo”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information.
Our application is not yet publicly available. Today this policy covers this website and any correspondence you send us. We will publish an expanded version, describing the application in detail, before it is released.
This website
We run no analytics on this site, set no cookies, and operate no advertising or tracking of any kind. Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. Nothing else about your visit is recorded by us.
If you write to us
We keep your message, your email address, and our reply, so that we can respond and so that a later conversation has context. We use it for nothing else, and we keep it for two years after the exchange ends.
The application
When the application is released it will require an account, and will collect the limited information needed to operate it — your email address and display name, basic technical information about the device you use it on, and a record of any purchase you make.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple and Google. Payment credentials never pass through our systems and we have no way to retrieve them.
The application contains no analytics service, no crash-reporting service, no advertising network and no third-party trackers. It does not request location, contacts, photos, calendar, health data, the microphone, or the camera.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not use your information to train machine-learning models.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to host our systems, deliver files, and process payments. Each acts on our instructions only. Some operate infrastructure outside Canada, which means personal information may be stored or processed in another country and be subject to the laws of that country. The expanded policy published at release will name each provider and its role.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and under comparable law where you live, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to our handling of it. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to your local supervisory authority.
Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days, and we do not charge for a first request.
Children
Hitsukyo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change is significant, we will give notice before it takes effect and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
